The hardest part for me has forsure been the loss of autonomy and control over my schedule. It’s very hard when I just want to take a nap or veg out and baby’s needs trump mine!

The hard part for me is how incessant it is. I can handle any specific behavior my kids have thrown at me, but the fact thatthe behaviors and needs and feelings happen 24/7 for years has worn me down

I'm a midwife, always been maternal always wanted to be a mum. Postpartum hit me like a brick wall, I didn't bond with my beautiful baby for weeks and have PPA/D. You just never know how you'll go.
