every time I've put in a sick day I've straight put as the reason "y'all stress me out, sick and tired, gonna take a day" and they haven't denied one yet or asked questions 😂

I have learned how to spread all my vacation days and sick days out well thanks to my father being in a union my whole life. Use those benefits folks.

Soooo..... I shouldn't have 8 weeks worth of sickies, on top of 13 weeks long service leave. (Aus) yet I have income protection insurance but have to use my sick days b4 they pay that.

That said, I live in California, so I like to let my PTO build up as high as I can get it, so when I leave, they have to pay me a nice big bonus :)

RN here- it’s extremely uncommon to have PTO approved in the medical field d/t short staffing but I was blessed with a a manager from god himself. He stays approving our PTO
