I’ve fished that several times. Johnsondale Bridge over north Kern. Absolutely beautiful up there. Always stop at McNalley’s for a great burger.

Over the years, they added so many rules and regulations to fishing. It’s just easier to go to the fish market because that’s what they want you to do.

Absolute craziness, lures only upstream Monday,Tuesday and Fridays. downstream every other Wednesday.... they do this on purpose just to control and scare people. who can keep track of all this!!

April 14th- Oct 11th is trout season for native, non native meaning stocked is open year round, barbless flies and artificial only for native.
