I couldn’t breastfeed because my son didn’t have the suck, swallow breathe reflex because he has an incredibly rare genetic syndrome that affects his whole nervous system.

We need so much more support! Tiny daughter was born with a tongue tie & couldn't latch. I had amazing support from BF midwives and we are still BFing 12 months later, albeit every feed is a struggle

I desperately wanted to breast feed but my baby son just wouldn’t latch because he was so desperate for milk and was fed formula in special care for 24 hours. I tried and tried but still was judged!

I couldn't when my baby was born because I almost died and was in the ICU on 24/7 intensive care. However I didn't give up and a week later I began to BF her and went on to breastfeed her exclusively

There isn’t enough help for mums who want to breastfeed. A lot of mums want to breastfeed, but struggle and the mum guilt we feel when we can’t is awful 😔

I hated when people questioned. As a medication change meant I could. Constantly got oh but you were doing so well. Surely u don't need the medication

a lot of it is due to poor education, tons of women I see think they "haven't got enough milk" so they quit. 99% of them have enough milk. very very few women truly cannot breastfeed
