💜💜💜💜💜 I lost my Grandmother aka Mamita to dementia, and it was hard to see her and have her there and not be able to speak to us anymore it’s hard to want to hear someone’s voice.

Grieving mom everyday while I care for her it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I miss her, I miss her voice (she’s non verbal and bedridden already) & she has changed so much physically, it hurts.

I know it’s not the same but I remember how my dog was alive but he wasn’t there anymore and it was like taking care of a baby it’s so hard for your loved one to be alive but not how they used to be

My grandpa passed away at 102. He battled Alzheimer’s and while he couldn’t exactly remember me towards the end, I know deep down he felt love when he saw me. And that’s what matters. Hang in there🤍

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when I was pregnant with my first child. I had to become a first time without the person who I needed the most & still do. Grieving her being postpartum was one

Yes girl i feel you my mom is in colombia being taken care of with Alzheimer's and i completely feel like i lost my mom because she's not there anymore. It's so hard !

This is so hard! My grandfather passed away from dementia and it was so hard! He played a big part of my life & passed away the day after my HS graduation. It brought me peace he waited for me 🥲🙏🏼

My grandma had this terrible disease. You truly grieve them twice. Just hug her when you visit when you are able. She is still in there. God bless!

I used to work at a home for a lot of seniors. It always broke my heart with the residents that never remembered anything. I just had to go a long with t what they say. But I’d always watch over them
