@momma_farmhouse: Red Wine-Braised Short Ribs Ingredients: 1/2 large yellow onion 1 cup carrots 2 medium stalks celery 3 to 3 1/4 pounds bone-in beef short ribs Salt and pepper to taste Freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup beef broth 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons tomato paste 3 cups dry red wine (I used what I had Mash potatoes or rice for serving Instructions: Dice onion, carrots, celery. Pat short ribs dry; season with salt and pepper. Sear ribs, then set aside. Cook veggies until tender. Add flour, wine; thicken sauce. Pour in broth, return ribs. Simmer low 6-8 hrs.
