@moonlit_kit: Replying to @David And to anybody wondering, when I say PTSD is not always logical what I mean is we cannot simply be shown a “good experience” with something that has traumatized us and be expected to get over the trauma. PTSD can make out brains make associations between things that most people would consider illogical, when really they are perfectly logical when broken down. For example, I personally struggle with hallways. Long hallways freak me out and can trigger flashbacks. To most people a fear of hallways seems illogical, but when you consider the context that I have been chased and attacked in a narrow long hallway, the association makes sense.
