@rocyiewong: As human, love is what we desperately yearn for and yet it is also what we fear the most. Searching for love in this era that is so visual driven, it’s only normal that we strive to put our best side forward. I heard what makes love difficult is because you’re looking for that someone to love the worst side of you, which tend to show up with time (mostly :p) And yet, dating with imperfect skin is like airing our dirty laundry (ie our worst insecurity) for all to see and judge in the early stages. The process can be incredibly daunting, exhausting and intimidating. Growing up, I never knew how love would look like for people like me, like us. But bit by bit I started to believe in possibilities instead of my fear. I started to give myself chances instead of hiding in my comfort zone. And I thank my own courage for the miraculous joy I experience today. Love isn’t an achievement nor destination, but it’s an essential part of life. It’s what liberates and nourishes our soul. And I truly believe everyone deserve it. I hope we all find the love we deserve. 💛🌼 #psoriasisawareness #eczema #selfacceptance #fyp
