@thefurnituredoctor: ORANGE PEEL WALLS? BYEEE!!! I finally decided it was time to smooth out the walls of this bathroom with some joint compound & primer. I was so excited to finally have smooth walls!! So I applied “Swan - Arch” from @Photowall #ad (check the link in my bio to shop!) Here’s how I did it! I skim coated my very textured orange peeled walls with joint compound & a taping knife Once it dried, I sanded it down lightly with any imperfections & repeated the process once more! This was definitely the most time consuming part! After it was dry, I was sure to apply a good few coats of primer so my wallpaper would adhere properly! When I ordered my #photowallsweden traditional wallpaper. The style I chose was “Swan - Arch” I was also sure to add their wallpaper kit to my cart so I’d have all the supplies needed for the install The wallpaper also came with the paste, which needed to be mixed with 1 gallon of lukewarm water which I let sit for 5 minutes. Then, I applied the paste to the wall & applied the first panel! I used a utility knife to trim any excess on the ceilings, above the baseboards and around any obstacles like cabinets or outlets. I continued across the wall, in SHOCK with how easy and seamless this piece was. Literally seamless!!!! After 24 hours, the paste was dry and the bathroom looks SOOOO GOOD!!! I’m obsessed.
