I don’t get the comparator as someone with ADHD. There’s not a cure &learn to live with it & have issues that persist. It’s permanent. Obesity is not permanent & should be ‘cured’ for optimal health.

obesity always has an underlying cause, it’s a “side effect” for alot of physical or mental health disorders and/or medications to help with those disorders. it’s not a disease on its own.

Even with the analogy about neurodivergence, autism and adhd are literally never a choice, obesity CAN be a choice (but isn’t always), obesity cannot be put into any one category
