@kvnramirezz: Here’s how I’ve been filming a lot of my super close up shots lately: I first noticed that I had a problem because the closer I brought my lens to me in f2.8 the harder it was for my camera to actually focus on my eye because it was trying to capture a depth of field that just wasn’t there. I also don’t have a macro lens so I had to figure out the next best thing which was actually to boost my aperture so that more of my shot comes into focus. By no means is this the perfect way to film a macro shot but it’s what’s worked for me! Now more details about the settings: My aperture was sitting at f11 and my ISO was at 4000 but depending on the amount of light you have available these settings might change for you, so just play around and experiment with it! I’m also shooting in slog3 so I naturally overexpose to about +1.7 but if you shoot with no picture profile just set it to where it looks good to you because at the end of the day that’s what matters.
