I was sensitive I still am but as a child I pushed the sadness down and it came back as anger and now that presents as self hatred and anxiety

I was this kid. I didn't show emotion for many years. Then I hit my 30s and it was like the wall couldn't hold it back anymore, and an emotional tsunami hit me. Now I cry at EVERYTHING.

I was bullied so badly for how sensitive I was and how much I cried. I masked so hard, I didn’t cry for about 6 years. Once I started again, I couldn’t stop. At everything, all the time.

sensitive, dramatic and over bearing is what was said to me. I still am sensitive, can't change that. Never been taught ever how to regulate my emotions. No therapies to help me cope with my ADHD

as an adult now I over intellectualize all of my emotions and never cry unless I'm completely overwhelmed/stimulated/frustrated. and only let that out when I'm alone. yay trauma!

I cried so much as a kid. I was called a crybaby. I taught myself not to cry. then had massive trauma 5 years ago, tried to suppress the tears and gave myself a nervous breakdown. The Dam burst.
