Some places back in the day adopted a step-on sled, which was what the transfer sled of today was based off of, where people would step on the sled every few feet as the tractor would be pulling down the track. Nowadays, the sled moves its own weight box on its own. : The Cement Pulling was one of the first kinds of tractor pulling to ever be created, alongside its relative deadweight dirt pulling, in the state of Michigan, USA.
