Na, book Shinkansen as early as possible. We had to cancel a overnight stay in Fukuoka because we couldn't get a train back to Tokyo lol

One thing about the Shinkansen though is that the machine sold us a ticket that did not include the basic fare and we missed our original train waiting in the service line. So make it is included😩
