and if the gloves are not medical grade or nitrile there is no chemical barrier so after about 10 min anything that was on your hands has seeped through the gloves

where i work they’re required, but it’s also required to change them and wash ur hands when switching what stuff you’re dealing with especially if its raw meat or a common allergen

Hi food service worker here! Gloves give people a false sense of security. More often than not that worker hasn’t changed their gloves in probably an hour.

the only reason I wear gloves is because I work in food with false nails and as policy we have to wear gloves with nails or nail polish on cuz we don't want if flake of polish or a nail falling
