The $149 DeWalt comes with batter and charger. I know because I am the department Supervisor for tools and hardware at Lowe's.

If you’re buying dewalt, kobalt, flex chances are you’re already got the batteries and chargers but also get a warranty (at least for dewalt) however with the 30 battery fan just taking chances

Where are you at because the dewalt fans I have were like $60 and you can use battery or plug them into and extension cord if batteries die
