I was misdiagnosed bipolar for 10 years or more. I just recently received my adhd diagnosis a year ago and after treatment my whole life changed then I was mad because of how long I suffered.

Yes! I was just talking about this today with my son. I know he has ADHD, he's been diagnosed with Dysregulated Mood Disorder. It's not correct and I know it.

I disagree. There are more Autistic ADHD being diagnosed. The swings in mood can be from Autistic/ADHD Meltdowns or Burnouts.

I'm a therapist. I get so many kids and parents saying they think it's bipolar and their mood flips so fast. I just grin, nod, and educate.

I have severe adhd+autism. I had severe emotional dysregulation, hospitalised abd dx BPD. not respond to meds. I stopped it. turns out I just needed my adhd meds restarted 😭😭

Misdiagnosed with Bipolar, recently diagnosed with ASD/ADHD. Went through over 200 sessions of ECT plus TMs 🙄 42 year old female. Memory loss from these treatments have affected my life 😢
