My diffusing routine, probably my most requested tutorial lately🦁🌬️ This is a 45 min routine btw..🪐 Directions: Before I start diffusing, I always wait about 10 minutes. You really don’t want to diffuse your hair when it’s soaking wet, because that’s when you get the most frizz, at least for me it just doesn’t work. I use that time to let my curls kind of settle and take their natural shape. Then I go in with my diffuser. I always start at my scalp, because that’s the part that takes the longest to dry. I start diffusing at a 90 degree angle. I do that on purpose because I have thick hair, and I hate when the inside stays damp. After that, I switch to about a 60 degree angle and start diffusing my curls. Every time I go back to my scalp, I switch back to 90 degrees and for the lengths, I stay at 60. Once my hair is about 50% dry, I add a bit of oil to my ends for hydration. Right now I’m using SheaMoisture, but honestly any oil or serum works. Then I separate my curls a little bit, and get back in with the diffuser until my hair is around 80% dry. After that, I separate my curls again and let the rest air dry.
