‘Quisiera’ or ‘Me gustaría’ is what I learned first (from Duolingo) & what I’ve practiced IRL. In my opinion, I think those two sound way better than the others. But it’s prob bc that’s exactly (1/2)

FOR LEARNERS: “can I have” is functionally equivalent to “can I get”. Tener means ‘to have’ but specifically in the sense of to physically have or possess! So puedo tener would have a weird function!

its kind of the same in german. if you ask something like "can you help me with..." they will reply something like "yes, i can" and not actually help
