I've rebuilt some big bladder accumulators on some Deuce tractors they rebuilt in shop. The big nut was threaded and you'd fish it in and out of the oil side.

in my experience, if an accumulator loses its charge, unless you know for certain that it was leaking from a loose fill port, the accumulator will leak again and needs replaced anyway.

Are shop always send our breakers away when the accumulators dead. I think he’s scared to rebuild it. I’d like to see how it’s done.

Good explanation👍🏻 got a lot of bladder acc at the sawmill I work at. For the hydraulic systems, charged with like 60-90bar.

My experience has been that if you lost the charge, the bladder is damaged anyways and there’s no point in charging them
