@bourntocreate: I put this fence up 1 year ago and it’s still holding strong. A lot of people will ask about the chickens flying out, yes they can get put of this if they want to. The first month, I sort of monitored them and put them back when they got over. They rarely jump over the wire part because they can’t easily land on the top of the wire. Sometimes they jump up on the wooden side of my fence and hop over but they always come back. I have one hen, Jupiter, that hops over everyday for a few minutes and returns on her own. We also don’t have preditor issues here thankfully. Just hawks, but the dogs help with that and the hens know to take cover under the coop. This fence is not for everyone’s setup but it’s definitely a cheap and sturdy way to keep the flock contained to that area and it works for us! #chickenfence #chickenrun #garden #badkyardchickens #DIY #diyfence
