@friarmalthus: i’m the NUMBER ONE defender of the hilda hurricane ending. first of all, we should be grateful for having a happy ending because in the book there isn't one. secondly, it would be too conventional, and unrealistic for everything to work out for them in the middle of a military dictatorship. gloria perez gave us what we needed, the look of nostalgia and desire in their eyes, and rodrigo santoro being hot. that’s all. and it's not an open ending! many people misinterpret it. in this scene, flashbacks appear of the fortune teller saying that hilda will be happy ever after in the future with the man of her destiny. i don't need to say anything else, right? it’s clear that after this scene the two got married and had children!!
