You can always tell if somethings been rotoscoped for about 99% of animations that use it. I hate the argument that "They're just that good at animation". Nothing inherently wrong with rotoscoping tho

While not the clips you showed, there are scenes in Chainsaw Man that look but are not rotoscopes. I can't remember the animator's name but their intuition with weight is famous

Rotoscope is what gives more “human” vibes to the animations, the art is there, and they still animate the whole thing. Its like a reference for more fluidity n realism
