I ‘broke’ some old toys and had my toddler throw them away over a week to get it into his head, then did this with the pacifier. He took it right to the garbage!

My son just started refusing it sometime before he was 1yr old. Happy I didn't have to ween him off. My cousin when little literally hunted down any pacifier until she was like 3 or 4 🤣
