Ritual to Invoke Freyja You Will Need: * Gold candles (to represent Freyja’s love for beauty and her magical brisingamen necklace) * Cat figurine or image (as cats are sacred to Freyja) * Amber or rose quartz crystals (for love and connection) * Apple (a fruit often associated with love and fertility in Norse mythology) * Freyja's symbol, the Valknut or a depiction of a chariot (to represent her warrior aspect) Steps: 💫Choose a quiet area where you feel comfortable. Ideally, this should be a personal sanctuary. 💫Cleanse the space by burning sage or juniper, common herbs used in Norse practices for purification. 💫Arrange the gold candles and the cat figurine or image on your altar. 💫Place the amber or rose quartz crystals around the candles. 💫Set the apple in front of the figurine or image as an offering to Freyja. 💫Light the gold candles to honor Freyja and invite her presence. 💫Hold the crystals in your hand, and close your eyes to focus on your intention to connect with Freyja. 💫Begin chanting the following, feeling your voice and heart reaching out to Freyja. 💫Meditate on the flame of the candles, envisioning Freyja’s energy surrounding you. Visualize her arriving in her cat-drawn chariot, cloaked in her feathered cloak. 💫After meditating, offer the apple by saying, "I offer this apple to Freyja, may she bless me with love and insight." 💫Thank the goddess Freyja for her presence and blessings. 💫Allow the candles to burn down safely. 💫Leave the apple on the altar overnight as an offering, and then bury it in the earth the following day as a gift back to nature. 💫Keep the crystals with you or place them where you frequently spend time to continue drawing in Freyja’s blessings. #freyja #blessings #blessedbe #hexandshadow #invoking - @hexandshadowchronicles
