As someone that has a family member suffering from Addiction I don’t give money because I feel I’m helping them feed their adx.I instead help them with warm food, a beverage, hygiene, and blanket❤️🩹

My favorite thing I’ve ever heard was when someone said that when you tip a server they very likely could be spending the money on drugs/alcohol but we don’t set those conditions.

I spend my money to try and escape reality, I would assume someone without a home might want that even more than I. Once I hand it to them- it’s theirs. They know what they need better than I.
