Hydrogens round trip efficiency (splitting it from water, compressing it, chilling it, transporting it, reacting it in a fuel cell) loses 50%-75% of the energy input. It's too wasteful to be viable.

Tge reason hydrogen did not get ahead was pure economics, it cost more to extract hydrogen than the energy you could get from the H extracted. That is no longer the case. Electrical is just a bridge.

Hydrogen powered cars were a great concept in the 1990’s. Hydrogen powered car development got replaced by EV development.

the amount of power you get from hydrogen is massively less then it takes to get the hydrogen. I would love if they found a tech to change that but we can produce enough electricity to support cars

Do you have any insight regarding the fresh water on our planet. Its not oil but it is a resource that is diminishing and it will be used in nuclear and also mining materials like lithium.
