I think the reason ppl stay and cheat is cos they get the benefits of a stable/loving/consistent connection whilst having the thrill of something new & exciting without having to put as much work in.

It's the 90-10 rule, a partner could have 90% of what you're looking for, but you start missing those 10%, so when you find someone that has those 10% it feels like the grass is somehow greener
