We’re programmed to think paying more for branded medication will get better/faster results. eg I haven’t got an 89p toothache, I’ve got a £3.50 toothache! 😏

100% true, same active ingredient but if you look into the data many of the RCTs actually showed significantly better pt reported pain scores vs non brand. good placebo example

Depends Paramol is the only over counter medicine that contains Dihydrocodin which makes a difference
