It’s stories like this that make me question why dogsitting is not more popular. I have been dog sitting for ten years and ppl don’t take it seriously. A good trustworthy dog sitter is so important.

yep I completely get it, we just gave up on vacations. 1 we can't find anyone to watch the homestead. 2 we don't trust anyone anymore to watch the homestead. I hope you can find someone, and have fun!
