cybsecurity cert on courser is super easy just saying. it is $49/m for access to the content though

finished the course last year. still looking for a job. I think the program itself is very good, but finding jobs with just the Google certificate is hard. still at it though.

I started with Merit America and quit a week in when I realized they use coursera. So I just went and did Coursera on my own. And I finished. $50 a month vs $5k? No brained

I paid for it ! It was a great course but I struggled greatly to find a job. Most or all jobs don’t see merit America as accredited compared to compTia. Just save your money. Order books on amazon

I was in a data analytics cohort in 2022 and still haven't found a data job, but moved up in my current job to an unrelated field so I'm still paying for the tuition lol. 😂🤦♀️

meritamerica also states you can do it for 5 hours per week and then after you go through the application process it says it requires a minimum of 20 hours which is not doable with a full time job.

It's not "very common" as the placement rate is actually very high. But there are exceptions to every rule. College doesn't guarantee a job either. It's the individual.

from someone who is about to finish the program, it really is a good choice for someone wanting to pivot into a new career they litterally give you all the insights of what's happening now in I.T.
