Don't waste your time on Cafe du Monde - it's overrated. Go to Cafe Beignet, specifically Bourbon St. Also visit Lafitte's on the other end of Bourbon St. Ruby Slipper is a great brunch spot.

I was just there in February and you have to do the French quarter phantoms’ ghost and vampire tour! It’s so entertaining! And the drinks at the voodoo lounge are fantastic!

go on the steamboat Natchez! they have a lovely tour up and down the Mississippi. I hear the food isn't great on the boat so maybe skip that part lol enjoy!
