At least raise the repayment threshold to where it was when HECS started and reduce or remove indexation. We already have a skills shortage, HECS is making it worse and driving inequality.

They could also only make HECs applicable to certain degree types to stop people getting degrees in something that wont help.

The fix is easy, compile a list of Australians that do not want to be under HECS. Sell their debt to a commercial Bank so they don't have to endure indexation anymore.
