@anna..papalia: 90% of hiring managers are NEVER trained to interview. In American the majority of corporate job interviews that are conducted are social interviews. Which means they are basing their decisions on whether or not they like you and if you will be a good “culture fit”. If you are an Examiner or Challenger in job interviews this will be especially hard for you since you get someone to see you as qualified by being professional and you rely on talking about your technical skills. If that is the case, you should also prepare some stories to tell to answer behavioral interview questions. STAR method is a great formula to follow.
