That’s a common problem on those. 🤷🏻♂️how was thst missed? I’d say that dealership has issues with techs not wanting to take on work that pays so little “flat rate that is” but idk 🤷🏻♂️

great diag. I had a similar issue. other shop put HG, WP n 5 thermostats for an overheat that happend after cust replaced his own radiator from Amazon. the plastic breather nippel wasn't machines thru.

Whoever got you wrong they are inexperienced not only VW. Had this problem BMW had it also, any German cars used plastic pillar? Had the problem keep up the great job
