being the kid who NEVER could have Nike, Adidas, etc, no one looks at your shoes. I grew up in hand me downs and walmart shoes. go with plain black and no one notices. but polkadot???? yes they'll see

Theres a part 2 where she talks about the kid having ADHD and anxiety and can get overstimulated. I am the same way and when my emotions get too strong and have a melt down (1️⃣)

I 1000% agree. I'm 21 years old so I was in highschool before the massive inflation and TikTok. The most influence people had was vine, tubes and insta and we STILL got bullied for wearing Walmart

Being 22 and very close to the school age I was the same way because I did not want to get bullied! I would get my name brand shoes a size bigger because I didn't want to get bullied

I remeber middle school years, if you didn’t have under armor or Nike clothing or bags they were brutal and they did not care to call out you wearing something from Walmart either 😳 they were brutal

I was bullied for wearing Payless shoes in high-school. well they tried to bully me anyway lol I Didn't care but I did throw fits about my hair a few times because kids at school would make fun of it

I was the poor kid bullied. So I made sure my kids has good shoes, I did second hand clothes but nice shoes. its hard.

My son is 7 and was bullied for shoes/just wants to fit in. He specifically asked for Nikes for class because of other kids. Now they are all second hand Nikes but no one knows that.

My main problem is that she put this out on the internet. She may not have said her name, but the kids from her daughter’s school WILL see this, and they WILL use it against her.
