This is great practice and kind but a lot of fast food workers can get in a lot of trouble for accepting tips no matter how much they want to or how kind you are unfortunately:( it sucks

I told a team lead at a job i worked for that i pocketed all the cash people gave me for bringing stuff out their cars. He said it would be wrong to give it to the company when they gave it to me.

at del taco I can only accept tips if the customer says specifically "here is a tip for you" if they say "you keep the change" then it's for the company so just be careful on your wording when you tip

This is nice to do, but some places don’t allow tips to be accepted. It can often lead to termination.

a regular Starbucks would be okay to tip but not a Target Starbucks they have to report the tip. if they don't they can get fired. what happens to the money? Target keeps it.

Tarbucks aren't allowed to solicit tips & have a no tipping policy. But if a guest insists and leaves it anyways, as long as we tell a TL, its fine. They can't fire you

this is a great thing to do, really, but it's better to post it at least keeping the privacy of rhe employee. they could unfortunately get reprimanded for this even though they tried not to accept it
