Yeah, we went to Kuramadera on a whim in Autumn years ago and it was so good. Sadly the onsen was closed due to a rock slide. good excuse to go back.

I visited Mount Kurama last year, because the other places in Kyoto were so damn crowded and it was the best desicion ever! So beautiful! 💜

I really recommend Kurama too. It also has a nice onsen and Kifune shrine is beautiful during autumn

She's speaks truths. Very good spots in Kyoto. Went to em when I lived there. Problem is, with the tourism the way it is, they might get overwhelmed too like Gion or Arashiyama.
