So I use fish fertilizer but usually mix it in a bucket and then poor it into the soil, if I were to use the sprayer would it get down into the soil as well? Or is this simply to spray the plant only?

I get overwhelmed when fertilizing because I'm scared certain ones will be good for some and then a different one for other plants. will this hurt anything?
