365 doesn't divide into 13 equally (13*28=364), and leap years would mess it up anyway. as for the sep=7, the year used to start at March before January and February were added.

The Gregorian calendar should be dropped and the lunar calendar used,as it's more accurate to the celestial time that encompasses the Earth. Just my opinion,but it would be a better system!

The reasons for the names of months is because there were two months added in history. Julius Caesar added July and Augustus added August. Thats why the names don’t match the number anymore.
