I’m so happy to see a family that learned ASL for their baby, my grandparents were deaf & my mom, worked at the Colorado School For The Deaf & Blind and you’d be surprised how many parents wouldn’t.

Have you ever tried a PECs system? Look it up on TeachersPayTeachers, or you can use a talker app from the app store! We use these techniques in my special ed classroom

picture exchange communication system(PECS) might be an option. time consuming to create, but could help expand vocabulary and clarify his needs

Im deaf, never learned ASL only read lips, mom of 3 hearing kids (now adults) man the words they got by with, and convincing friends that i really was deaf 😒 smh 😅 fun times

My daughter is in speech therapy. She isnt deaf she just doesnt pronounce some sounds correctly. Its hard to understand her sometimes and she gets so frustrated when we cant understand her.

U look tired but continue to fighting hard- mayb look into other creative fun games to teach him .. visuals posters YouTube videos of other kids signing- I’m sure Uve tried some- but u got this .
