99% of the time it's not the ecm, unless it's a John Deere. Then it's 50/50 😭

I worked for a shop that would always go for the PCM thinking its always the problem. 2010 ram 1500. had a problem on the sensor 5v line. boss put 10 pcms in the truck. he doesn't know how to diagnose

Most PCM’s past mid 2000 are legit, the issues lie with fuses, relays and other component modules 99.999999% of the time 👍🏻

Except when you do all testing and service info tells you to replace PCM. and its still not it. PS it was the starter causing the crank code on the honda I worked on. 😂

Man you would’ve loved the car I had yesterday. 21 F-150 none of the interior lights worked. Had power at the fuses and going to the bcm but bcm was not switching lights on.

I programmed a new PCM for a shop that was certain it was a bad PCM after they had done new heads & it wasn't starting. I told em it was timing. New PCM did not fix the issue. 3 months later

I diagnosed a truck for 5v reference problem check all 3 sensors and their wires SI told me to .. told me to change ecm… tech support said change ecm

Had a similar issue with a vw 2.0t. Except I had a reverse issue. Could not reads codes but could read data on the pcm.
