Keep her off concrete, pavement, etc.. until it heals. You can keep the boot on if you want. My dog does this to his paw on pavement or turf after running too long in the hot days.

Raw paw. My dogs get it pretty frequently. It usually happens if they slide/skid in concrete or harder ground. Keep it clean and unwrapped! I always use mushers and it heals quick!

For paw injuries, 3m vet wrap is my favorite. Spray with the vetricyn you have, then wrap it 2-3 times and then up to her knee to keep it from sliding around. It’s self clinging, so it stays put!

Hey I have a pointer, she’s a year old and is literally going through the same thing. The Vet is having us keep her foot wrapped and she has to wear a cone. They said it could take up to 2 months heal

This happened to one of my labs. Our vet had to give him some spray to keep him from licking it and told us to keep it clean, but also try to keep it dry. We didn’t have to wrap it so it could get

I feel ya, mine cut off the tip of his upper carpal pad somehow- and it’s a bigger issue trying to keep a bandage on it . But good news - it heals up like it never happened

Our mastiff likes to lazy scuff her back feet when she walks and rips her pads up. I like blue paste and chlorhexidine to help and wrap it with a layer of gauze and vet wrap for a day or 2 and rest hr
