@shellydoesdiy: DIY faux wood front door✨ This front door refresh was so quick and easy with @Retique It Our front door easily had 4 layers of paint on it. Rather than strip off the old layers, I painted it and got that gorgeous light wood finish that costs so much in stores now. Here’s how I did it: ✨ scuff-sanded ✨ cleaned ✨ primed using Retique It bleached Wood’n primer ✨ brushed on Retique It puckled oak Wood’n stain and ran the graining tool through the stain ✨ brushed on a 2nd coat of Wood’n stain ✨ sealed it with Retique It tripletique ✨ added a little black paint to the hinges, doorknob and door sweep #frontdoormakeover #fauxwood #fauxwooddoor #doormakeover
