@i_faraz: Comment ‘PDF’ for Kashmir itinerary 🚀❄️ Travelling to Kashmir during the winter season is arguably the most magical adventure. ✈️ However, you can have a more enjoyable and economical trip with our favourite hacks: TRAVEL IN GROUP TO DIVIDE THE COST: Sorry Solo travellers, Kashmir should be a group trip. It isnt easy to find shared “servicegaadi” or convenient to break your journey at a minimum of point(s), because each district has their own taxi unions, which do not allow another district’s taxi to pass easily BOOK A HOMESTAY OR JKTDC STAYS: Hotel stays are expensive and get pricier during the winters. There are a few budget homestays, like Raju Homestay in Gulmarg but they get sold out sOon. It is best to book a reliable stay with JKTDC with all basic amenities to survive the cold w/o burning a hole in your pocket. BARGAIN HARD: It is really sad that almost all service providers in Kashmir quote an inflated price right off the bat. You have to bargain, and bargain hard to get a cheaper deal, and mind you, there’s always a cheaper deal. SAVE MONEY ON SNOW BOOTS AND JACKETS: A lot of people will approach you to advise hiring snow boots fromthe base point of Gulmarg/Sonamarg, do not hire boots until you have arrived at Phase 1, you will get them for ₹100/pair. Also, we didn’t even need a pair at al, which is to say that if you have a good pair of shoes with enough grip and waterproofing, you will be fine. BOOK CAB RIDES FROM JUGNOO/NOVO CABS: (NOT SPONSORED) We used Novo Cabs and managed to reach our hotel from the airport in half the price of that of the taxi union. 💥Ask us any Kashmir related questions below💥 #kashmir #coupletravel #budgettravel #travelitinerary #traveltips
