I’d recommend loosing the steering cylinder hoses just a little. They will blow the pump in half as soon as it starts. That’s my experience anyhow.

Do you have a plugged ccv or hydraulic tank breather? Looks like a new pump to be leaking that early. Makes me think somethings taking out your seal

They do an updated gear pump with a case drain on it to prevent the shaft seal blowing out,look into it !!
