I'm very fortunate that my kids get free breakfast and lunch as well! they also send home food packs on the weekends for kids who need them! we don't realize how many kids just go hungry without these

the orange bag brings back memories. I remember the banana bread. we used to keep the leftovers for snack it was a battle..I would always go for chocolate milk which was warm but somehow still good

The sad thing is that in Connecticut as of Sept 2024 they want to make parents pay if they make over 39k for a family of 4 … that’s not enough to live on and the kids will suffer
