So here it is: unauthentic but delicious! 😋 RECIPE (2 servings, 15min prep time): -1/2 can (200ml) coconut milk -100ml water -a thumbsize piece of ginger, smashed -a pinch of salt -3 Tbsp sugar Mix and let it simmer on medium heat. -1 cup leftover rice Knead it and shape into little balls. Add to the sauce and let it simmer for about 5mins. -a handful of sesame and hazelnuts Roast in a pan and then crush. Serve the rice balls in coconut milk with the nut topping. - SEHR UNAUTHENTISCHE BUA LOI 🍚🇹🇭 Ich hatte noch etwas Reis übrig und hab mich erinnert, dass ich in Thailand ein leckeres „Reisbällchen-Dessert“ gegessen hatte. Hier ist es also: unauthentisch, aber lecker! 😋 REZEPT (2 Portionen, 15 Minuten Zubereitungszeit): -1/2 Dose (200 ml) Kokosmilch -100 ml Wasser - ein daumengroßes Stück Ingwer, zerdrückt -eine Prise Salz -3 EL Zucker Mischen und bei mittlerer Hitze köcheln lassen. -1 Tasse übrig gebliebener Reis Kneten und dann zu kleinen Bällchen formen. Zur Soße hinzufügen und etwa 5 Minuten köcheln lassen. -eine Handvoll Sesam und Haselnüsse In einer Pfanne rösten und dann zerhacken. I honestly think there is no way to make anything "authentic" -even for the same dish there will always be many ways of making it (think kartoffelsalat)- as long as it tastes good thats all that matte

My moms best friends was from Thailand I thank her for bring a verify of food from my childhood I love so much as an adult one was a coconut rice ball also sticky rice I’ve tried to recreate to this day at almost 30 and could never make the rice the right way

I think as long as you say, it’s a blank inspired process, or it’s a blank inspired recipe. There’s so much debate over traditional recipes. A lot of people like to argue is it really traditional
