a comforter isn't a blanket..they're supposed to go on the OUTSIDE of your top sheets. those big things are hard to wash every week so instead you wash the top and bottom sheets that you actually have against you while sleeping

You say you would have to wash it more often, but in reality, you should be washing the duvet cover just as often which means every time you do you have to tie it up.

There’s no way I could wash the cover but not the duvet. Sweat and dust mites or whatever wouldn’t just stay on the outer cover. I’d have to wash the whole thing every time. I’ll stick with the comforter
