Spent a month in the US on holiday and I didn’t see one, was just pans and flat tops for freight.

I used to haul building materials in curtain side trailers but I had to use straps to secure the load

they had them 20 years ago when I lived and owned trucks in Canada and ran cross border into the US ..

I pointed them out to the bloke that's building the hybrid trucks in Canada and saw them when he was in UK looking at combinations. Explained you can use the mezzanine but still only cart same weight

they use conestogas. we call them prairie wagons here. not common uses mostly to cart steel
